| This is from the left side of the road in a roadcut which has many of these small druzy quartz pockets. This was the best one I saw so I took it. It is about 2 inches in diameter. It is stained with some red stuff, and maybe it is hematite but I'm not sure. After washing I was wondering if there was a small rusty crystal. It reminds of the stuff I found in Branson that had similar druzy quartz pockets in basically marblish stone with red stains on it. |
