Details: I can't verify the persistence of the information about this location. However, from Earth Treasures, Volume 4b, it says that Cinnabar (bright red, small crystals) can be found here. Might as well explore while you are down at the diamond mine.
Directions: From Earth Treasures, Volume 4B, by Allan Eckert: "Murfreesboro area: 4 miles north on SR-27 (from junction of SR-26 and SR-27) to right turn on Shawmut Road; follow latter for 0.9 miles to right turn on Fuller Trail; follow trail 2 miles to sharp curve to left; immediately after the curve, make a sharp right turn onto a very bad road; follow this 0.25 mile; cross creek and climb hill to quarry and dump."
