Details: Comb the waterline for nice palm-sized petoskey stones, agates, pudding stones, septarian geodes, and horn coral and other coral fossils.
Directions: Don't go to the Lakeport Camping Area; instead, park at the day use site and use the pedestrian bridge to cross the road to the beach.
