Details: On the east branch of the Spillman Creek south of Pontoosuc, geodes can be found. Geodes may have brown calcite, pyrite on chalcedony, sphalerite on chalcedony or calcite, and quartz.
Directions: There is a map on the referenced source. I guess go south from Pontoosuc at the intersection of highway 96 and country road 1530 and then veer left after 1000 feet onto country road 1540 for about .75 miles. Look for a bridge or a creek. The road names may vary.
