Details: Large beryl crystals, often blue found here as well as garnet, quartz, schoryl, mica and felspar to name a few. Tools to dig in the dumps and mine in hard rock are needed. Permission to collect here is limited to clubs who have obtained a state permit to collect. Jion a local club for 10-15 dollars a year to gain access to these kinds of collecting sites and meet some people in the process. Tresspassers will cause complete closure of these areas.
