Details: At the parking lot for Denver Point, follow the Point around to the right about 0.25 miles. You'll come across a sandy beach that will turn into a rocky area. This area has yielded fist sized Rose rocks for me. There are a lot of quarter sized. The larger have great quality of the ones i have came across, the smaller ones are a hit and miss.
Directions: From Scott (webmaster): I checked the map and I think the area is called Denver Corner, not Denver Point. Here is a map of the location Lake Thunderbird map.
I also posted approximate GPS coordinates.
