Details: "Bryan - College Station is literally littered with fossilized wood - mostly white or tan with some druzy quartz. Any new land clearing or construction areas should be checked to see what is being uncovered. Several "chunks" in excess of a ton now adorn the parking lot of the softball fields off Highway 30. They were found when the fields were leveled. Submitted by Owen Martin" This is from http://www.rockpicks.net/states/texas.htm
