You can find pecos diamonds at this location near the Pecos river. These are small doubly terminated quartz crystals. For more information about this site and the area go to this website:

Directions: From Artesia, after you turn right onto Chalk Bluff Road, it will be 3.8 miles and across 4 cattle guards. There is supposed to be a small wash area on the right near oil pumps. The GPS placemark is marked on the Chalk Bluff Rd.
