Details: This may or may not be a private site, but it appears to be a quarry. There's a plethora of fossil varieties here such as brachiopods, corals, crinoids, bryozoans, and epibionts from the early Devonian period. Directions: The website's directions say: "Drive west on I-40 until you cross the Tennessee River. Exit on Rt 69. Drive south 11 miles. The Parsons Quarry will be on your left"
