Details: During the Gem-O-Rama show here in Trona, you can pay to collect from one of three field trips: mud, blow hole, and pink halite. There is more information about this October event on the Gem-O-Rama website. The website tells when, where, what, how, etc. The significant minerals to be collected here include borax crystals, hanksite crystals, and pink halite clusters.
Directions: Check out the website for directions. Basically you go to Trona. I think the address is 13337 Main St. Trona, CA 93562.
