Fossils are fairly abundant here and elsewhere along the lakeshore." - This information was found on Nuggetfever.com as well as a very concise list of collecting locations in Vermont. You can't collect at this location per comment below. It is on private land and take pictures not rocks!
Directions: "Take Route 125 west from Route 7 near Bridport towards Chimney Point Bridge to New York." Park near the bridge on the Vermont side.
