Details: From the Utah Geological website, location #18, it says: "Fragments of the pelecypods Ostrea and Inoceramus are common in the Mancos Shale throughout the area."
Directions: From the Utah Geological website, location #18, it says: "Located 0.4 miles south of Grassy Wash, 11.2 miles south of the Carbon-Emery County Line, and 5.6 miles north of Woodside on U.S. 6/50. Search the road cuts on both sides of the road. Land status: BLM public lands and highway right-of-way."
