Details: Includes nice ruby-red sphalerite crystals, calcite crystals, and pink/yellow dolomite crystals. More rarely are good galena and pyrite crystals. Many rocks are weathered and site has been picked for decades. There are still some good specimens and sometimes splitting rocks will yield decent crystals.
Directions: Go north on Schifferdecker Ave. (at 4th St. intersection) past museum complex for about a mile.
