"i think the directions are a bit outdated... it was all on private property. (alcola mines, they will fine you $500). found some great specimens in a empty lot to the left of mt. olive grocery/gas. not sure if public, but i saw no signs."

just surface hunting i found crazy amounts of pyrite, some real nice cubes and other formations. Definetly worth checking out
