Description: Your shell is a genus argonauta, sub species nouryl. These shells are pelagic and found worldwide in warm waters. This info was acquired from Simon and Schusters field guide to shells. This particular shell was obtained in the Gulf of California, beyond the high tide line on the west side of San Jose Island, on or around April 23, 1996.
