Description: A fantastic copper nugget formation rich in golden copper color. A natural formation lightly tumbled to remove outer matrix and round the rough edges of the copper. Piece weighs over 1 1/4 lb. Mining began in 1845 and continued until 1968 and over 5 million tons of refined copper was recovered from the mines.
