CSS: 12.12 lbs Of Glass Butte Fire Obsidian Pit Rough Knapping Arrowhead Oregon
This specimen is not for sale, and was archived from an external source for the purpose of preserving and sharing its geologic, geographic, and collector value.
Description:  I combine shipping on multiple wins. CSS: 12.12 lbs Of Glass Butte Fire Obsidian Pit Rough Knapping Arrowhead Oregon. Some of these have some amazing gold sheen. This comes from a different are from the other obsidian. Sometimes there is fire and sometime there is not. It looks like fire in the fist picture. You have to know how to cut them properly to see the fire. Pictured wet and dry so you can see what it will look like polished. Just came from another large collection of early rough and slabs that was originally dug in the 1960's and 70's and most of has never been cut. Many of the colors of these agates and jaspers have changed over the years and these are early digging colors. Some might even still have a little dirt in crevices that needs to be cleaned out. There is a ruler in photos so you can see the sizes.
