Description:  Montana Moss Agate 10.8 oz Montana Moss Agate rough faced pair from the Yellowstone river. Inclusions showing throughout in translucent base. Halfs do show fractures in faces shown wet and larger measures approx. 2.7" x 1.4" x 1.9"+/- Multiple photos in listing Priority with confirmation, Combine shipping and save. International to be determined, also please check my other auctions, Thanks Numerous Agates can be found along the Six hundred plus mile Yellowstone river. The moss types with there wide variety have become the most popular. The past volcanic activity in what was is now Yellowstone National Park provided the mechanisms to produce the variety of agate. Most of the agate is thought to be from Limb casts from once lush forests covered by the volcanic activity.
