Description: Here we have a box of fluorite octahedrons, of a variety of colors. The largest octahedron measures 1 1/8" along one edge or 1 3/4" point to point. The pieces have been cleaved from a larger piece of fluorite by a miner into the octahedron shape shown here. The locality for these specimens is Cave-In Rock, Illinois. All weights and measurements of the piece are approximate.
