Description: The locality for this piece is the Kerr McGee Mine, Carlsbad Potash District, Eddy County, New Mexico. The overall dimensions are 1" wide by 1 1/4" tall by 1" front to back. There is cleavage damage. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A WATER SOLUBLE MINERAL from dry lake salt bed and SHOULD NOT be exposed directly to water as it will dissolve and eventually disappear. All weights and measurements of the piece are approximate.
