Description: Translucent, tan blades of barite crystals have some matrix included in the back of the crystals. The faces of the crystals have a mixed luster. The locality for this piece is the Linwood Mine, Buffalo, Scott County, Iowa. The overall dimensions are 3 3/8” wide by 2 1/8” tall and 7/8” front to back. All weights and measurements of the piece are approximate.
