Description: The locality is Benitoite Gem Mine, San Benito County, California. The piece measures 4 1/2” wide by 4” tall by 1 1/4” front to back. The benitoite crystal on the right side of the specimen is in good shape while the crystal on the left side has suffered a major impact to the termination. There is termination damage and nicks along the edges. All weights and measurements of the piece are approximate.
