Description: Leonard Mine Covellite 135 gram Montana Leonard Mine Covellite faced rough end cut with associated minerals. Heavy pyrite in areas with secondary minerals. Does have pitting around pyrite in rough face Shown wet & measures approx. 1.2" x 3.2" x 7/8"+/- vugs around pyrite Covellite can be found worldwide, The butte material however is coveted above all others for lapidary purposes for its iridescent tendencies. A somewhat rare copper sulfide mineral thats fairly soft in its purest form with a mohs around 2 Priority with confirmation, Combine shipping and save.
