Description: COVELLITE, PYRITE. Size: 1 7/8" x 1 1/4" x 3/4". These are air-abraded with baking soda to remove a thin overgrowth, and to show the color better. Not rare, this mineral is only found in appreciable quantities at Summitville, CO, and Butte, MT. This may be the third best known location for this species.
