I found shiny golden marcasite crystals and fossils in limestone on the east side of the highway and north half of the roadcut primarily.  There seemed to be coral fossils and shell fossils, some with marcasite on them.  Some of the marcasite clusters were really nice.  The limestone cut looked more fresh than the other roadcuts around and of better quality.  All of the specimens I found I picked up from the ground, but there were some on the walls also.

I could not find the exact location on Google Earth and Google Maps because it is a new stretch of highway.  I put a placemark on a nearby roadcut near Burlington hoping it is the right one or close by.  All that I can remember is that it is south of one of the Tower Rd. intersections on highway 65 about 10 miles south of the Missouri border.

Update 5/5/2011: Going north on 65 from Harrison, the roadcut is right after an intersection with Burlington Loop.  The end of the roadcut is where I'd concentrate.
